Care Workers Charity Writing Competition
We are excited to announce a new writing competition to allow our wonderful champions and care staff an opportunity to share their hard work with the wider community. Personal stories really help to showcase the passion that is put into care, this is a message that as a charity we wish to share.
We are excited to announce a new writing competition to allow our wonderful champions and care staff an opportunity to share their hard work with the wider community. Personal stories really help to showcase the passion that is put into care, this is a message that as a charity we wish to share.
1st and 2nd prize will win £100 of vouchers of your choice!
The theme of the contest and your article should focus on your role in the care sector. Here are some writing prompts that may help:
– What made you want to become a care worker?
– What do you enjoy about the job and the clients you care for?
– What does your day look like?
– How do you use your skills to care for your clients?
– What symptoms/challenges do your clients face and how do you help them overcome these struggles?
– Do you have any success stories working with clients and their families?
This list is not exhaustive, so you can get creative!
Also, don’t worry if you’re not confident in your writing skills. Just write as you would talk, and we can work with you to edit the final version if it goes live on the website.The suggested word count for each submission is 750 words.

Every entry will be considered and even if you don’t win the first prize, your submission may be eligible for posting on our website.
The deadline for entries is the 09/02/2018.
