Grants

The Care Workers’ Charity currently offers two grant funds, the Crisis Grant Fund and the Covid-19 Emergency Fund.

Covid-19 Emergency Fund

The Covid-19 Emergency Fund is open to those who are currently employed in the care sector (as stated above) who must take time off work due to Covid-19 for either illness or self-isolation.

Crisis Grant Fund

The Crisis Grant Fund is open to those employed in the UK social care sector in a role that is involved in or supports the provision of adult, elderly or disability care. This includes those who work in residential social care, domiciliary/home care, supported living care, day care, and private care.

Applicants must have experienced one our qualifying circumstances in the past year that has caused significant financial impact.

Mental Health Support Fund

The programme will offer applicants a series of up to ten support sessions with a qualified therapist. Please note that this is not a financial grant, The Care Workers’ Charity will pay the service provider (Red Umbrella) directly for your sessions.
