Champion of Care Pledge

Become a Champion of Care – Join the 500!

This year, The Care Workers’ Charity is on a mission to recruit 500 organisations to step up as Champions of Care.

Are you ready to take your place in the chain?

We’re inviting people and organisations across the care sector to make a one-off £500 pledge – the average value of a crisis grant that provides urgent, practical support to a care worker in need. One pledge. One care worker supported. Real impact.

Take the £500 Challenge

  • Pledge £500 to support care workers.
  • Receive your digital Champion of Care badge to proudly showcase your commitment.
  • Tell us who nominated you because every link in the chain matters.
  • Nominate at least one other organisation or individual to match your pledge and keep the movement growing.

The Champion Chain

This is more than a pledge – it’s a ripple effect.

When you nominate someone, and they nominate someone else, the chain continues… and grows stronger with every link. Our goal is 500 organisations supporting at least 500 care workers this year, and we know the sector can make it happen.

And to add a little friendly competition:
The person or organisation who nominates the most Champions by 31st December 2026 will win a  box of 6 Virgin Wines and a luxury swee treat box from Hotel Chocolat.

Impact and indulgence? We love to see it.

Why It Matters

The Care Workers’ Charity provides critical financial support, access to mental health services, and advocacy to the social care workforce. By joining the Champion of Care Pledge, you are directly supporting the wellbeing of care workers who dedicate their lives to supporting others.

“Care workers are the backbone of our society, yet they are often underappreciated and undervalued. This International Women’s Day, we are calling on businesses and individuals to pledge their support, helping to ensure care workers receive the urgent assistance they need. A £500 pledge can make a life-changing difference. Let’s accelerate action and create a sector that truly values and supports its workforce.”

Join Us in Making a Difference

Make your pledge today, fill in the form below  and be part of this powerful movement.

Care workers make a difference—let’s make a difference for them.

  • £385 could replace a care worker’s washing machine so they have clean clothes for work and life.
  • £395 could repair the car that a car worker relies on to get to work.
  • £500 could provide one care worker with ten tailored mental health therapies to process chronic stress and trauma.
  • £1,550 could help a care worker with the financial burden of laying a loved one to rest.

*Disclaimer: The money raised in this campaign will act as unrestricted funding so that The Care Workers Charity can continue to directly support care workers with grants and contribute towards overall operating costs. This includes administration of funds, campaigning and fundraising, and representing the interests of care workers at a national level.

We thank every one of you for supporting us to continue our important work across the UK.
