The Care Workers’ Charity join the nation in mourning Her Majesty the Queen

Staff and Trustees of The Care Workers’ Charity join the nation in mourning the loss of Her Majesty The Queen. Her dedication and commitment to public service will ensure she is a role model for future generations.

Queen Elizabeth II began her reign at just 25 years old and has seen 15 Prime Ministers in power.

During her 70 year reign Her Majesty supported and praised many charitable organisations.

“On our own, we cannot end wars or wipe out injustice, but the cumulative impact of thousands of small acts of goodness can be bigger than we imagine”, the Queen said in 2016

She was in fact patron of over 800 charities.

Despite no official requirement for involvement Her Majesty took a keen and informed interest in government business and formed a relationship with every Prime Minister who served her.

Many of the Social Care reforms we have seen were supported by her.

The loss of Queen Elizabeth II will be felt by the nation and the world for many years to come but her legacy will live on in the work she did in her 70 years of dedication to her nation.

Our heartfelt condolences and deepest sympathies are with the Royal Family at this sad time.
