Individual Support

Individual Support

Love your job? Love the care sector? Love the Care Workers Charity? We need your support to shout about the work we do and help raise funds to strengthen support available to colleagues, to friends, to you, should you ever need it. There’s a whole host of ways to show your support, read on to find out more or get in touch via our Contact us page.

Become a champion

Our network of volunteers is called Champions. Our Champions are our eyes and ears on the ground, trying to increase awareness of the charity and put on awareness and fundraising events throughout the year.

Being a Champion enables you to develop skills, attend special Champion centred events throughout the year and to meet new people who like you want to support the care sector.

Whether you’re a care worker, a care manager or simply want to raise funds for the charity, register you interest here and well be in touch about how you can get more involved.

Simply Donate

Every donation we receive, large or small counts towards our work. To make a single donation, or set up a regular payment Click here.

Payroll Giving

Make a tax-free donation directly from your salary every month and support colleagues when they may need it most. Your donation is taken from your pay before tax is deducted and so it costs you less! For example, if you pledge to donate £20.00 per month to The Care Workers Charity and are a basic rate tax payer – only £15.60 will come out of your monthly salary (£12.00 for higher rate tax payers) Once set up, the Charity will again benefit from a regular donation. Contact us to find out more.

Organise an event

Put your organisational skills to the test and organise a tea party, a quiz or bring and buy. With friends, old and new it’s a great opportunity to come together and raise vital funds for YOUR industry charity. Why not look at our Fundraising Ideas for some inspiration?

Leave a gift in your will

Leaving a legacy in your will is a wonderful way to continue your support for a cause you care about. Please consider how a gift in your will could help provide the vital services the Charity provides for many generations to come. Contact us to find out more.
