This is the season where we raise our collective voice for the care sector.
Featuring Why You Care, the Thames Moonlight Walking Event, Professional Care Workers’ Week, and Wear It Orange Day, this is your chance to champion care workers and celebrate their contribution to society.
How to Take Part
- Register for campaign events, download campaign packs, and access logos, posters, and storytelling guides.
- Host a Why You Care conversation, video, or workplace campaign.
- Organise a Wear It Orange Day fundraiser at your care home, office, or school.
- Take part in our Annual CWC Trek, in 2026 it will be the Thames Moonlight Walk.
How to Fundraise
Advocacy can be powerful and fun:
- Wear It Orange Day Donations – Encourage people to wear orange and donate a minimum of £1 each to take part.
- Advocacy or Discussion Panel – Sponsor one of our Professional Care Workers’ Week.
- Join our Sponsored Moonlight Walks or Host Your Own Event – walk and raise funds through sponsorship.
