  6. I wish to thank my entire team at Kinship Connect Ltd. We are an independent domiciliary CARE company, covering West Devon and East Cornwall. Our whole team have worked tirelessly throughout the pandemic, to ensure that the People We Support are safe and looked after at all times.

The team have worked 7 days a week to make sure that the most vulnerable people in our community have a continuity of care and I am so very proud to work with such outstanding people.

They all regularly go above and beyond to make sure that the People We Support are happy, safe and living their life to the full.

A heartfelt thank you from myself and Kevin, our Managing Director.

  7. Thank you to the whole team at Clarendon Home Care, from the care workers to the office staff, for all they have done to keep the show on the road during the most difficult time that any of us can remember. Thank you for caring for our service users the same way you would your own family and for always being there, even on the toughest days.

  8. A huge thankyou to the team at Bluebird Care Swindon, we had care professionals working various hours, some of you worked 14 days straight, to protect the vulnerable clients. Some of you risked your own health to put the clients needs first. It is a pleasure working with every member of the Bluebird team. Your hard work and dedication to the clients is very much appreciated, you are all super hero’s!! I am truly honoured to be apart of such an amazing team 🙂

  9. I have always been proud to work within the social care sector and would just like to say …. to all of you who also work in social care I applaud you. The last 18months have been tough for so many reasons and all in social care have worked tirelessly amongst difficult circumstances . The compassion , commitment and determination observed to ensure the residents/service users and all who come into contact with us were cared for throughout this time has been outstanding .
Thank you to each and every one of you for all that you do ….

  10. I would like to thank the team at Bluebird Care Mendip, despite the challenges the whole team pulled together and continue to do so. I am so proud to work with all the members who have shown great dedication and commitment to continue providing outstanding care, which enabled our customers and their families reassurance throughout this difficult period.

  11. From the Black Country Staff Mental Health & Wellbeing Hub, we want to say a big thank you to all staff working in Social Care, in the Black Country (and wider across the country too!) for the amazing work you have done throughout the Pandemic and continue to do. While many have been able to return to a calmer sense of normality in recent times, those staff working in social care have if anything, only seen their challenges become harder, as they keep working hard to the great benefit of those they care for.

  12. I would like to thanks the whole team at Heather House specialist nursing home in Tadley who all worked tirelessly throughout the pandemic. Everyone worked above and beyond to ensure that the residents who are all extremely clinically vulnerable stayed safe and free from the virus. Although in the beginning all staff members were scared and did not know what to expect the team always put the needs of the residents first and supported them through a very hard time especially when they were unable to see their own families. x

  13. First of all I would like to thank all care workers across all roles, managers, support and care workers, cooks, housekeeping, maintenance – everyone who has and are still working tirelessly to keep the people you support safe. Secondly all my colleagues who worked very hard on the hard pandemic time. Even some of them care assistant, senor, maintenance man, housekeeper and management was covid positive, but they isolate themselves in the care home, without seeing family 14 days. Salute all staff in social care sector for their unconditional support to make comfort, safe and smile on service users face. What an honour to call you all colleagues, you are all amazing and we are forever in your debt. Thank you, thank you, thank you

  14. A huge thank you to the whole team at Hastings & Bexhill Mencap.
Our residential care manager and her staff at Westwood worked tirelessly to keep our residents’ safe. They adapted to all our residents’ being at home 24/7 and did all they could to ensure their days were fulfilled and happy.
Our day service teams at Open Door and Active Arts willingly moved to help at our care home, providing day time activities and covering care shifts. Many were furloughed and accepted this situation, which we recognise made for an uncertain future for them. When it was safe to do so they worked hard to ensure the gradual reopening of day services was safe, adapting activities to allow for restrictions. Our mangers worked hard to find new and inventive ways to provide a good level of service to our members and students. We can’t thank our team enough for their dedication, care and inventiveness.

  15. I would like to thank all who work in the Social Care Sector but a massive thank you to my fabulous team at CAREFOUND HOMECARE (HARROGATE) who have worked relentlessly and tirelessly with such passion and pride, some sacrificing their own freedom to move in with their Live In Clients to reduce footfall in the homes, strictly adhering to infection control policies to minimise the risk of Carer-Client Covid transfers, working above and beyond their availability to ensure their clients remained safe in their own homes. Thank you each and every one of you! xxxx

  16. I would like to thank all the support team members, local management and central support at SeeAbility for their huge efforts and commitment throughout the pandemic (and before). The support and sacrifices made were (and continue to be) truly humbling and inspiring. There were cases where team members moved into the homes of people they supported to enable people to be cared for and reassured at times when people had tested positive and were scared. We cannot ever underestimate the real impact that support teams have every day on the lives of some of the most vulnerable people we have in our society. Once again thank you for all that you do…

  17. I would like to celebrate and thank our staff at Barton House and Needwood House Nursing Homes who have worked so hard throughout the pandemic supporting both our residents and families in what has been a very difficult time. 25. I cant express how proud we are of the Adult Social Care teams in Staffordshire. Despite the challenges of the last 2 years staff have been and continue to be vehimently determined to ensure that a high stand of care and support is delivered to those most vulnerable in our communities. Always putting the person at the centre of everything they do, working tirelessly, being creative, harnessing community capacity, pulling in extra hours, volunteering, supporting their colleagues and pulling together to make sure invdividuals are safe. 27. To every care provider in Solihull who supported local people during the Covid-19 pandemic, my heartfelt thanks. Personal assistants, care at home workers, day and community support workers and residential and care home teams, registered managers, cooks, cleaners and support staff responded selflessly, with compassion and dedication. Many of you put your own needs aside, spending time with those isolated, sick or fearful at the expense of time with your families and some risk to your own health. You provided companionship and reassurance when there was no one else for some. You maintained personal care to allow people to live with dignity when so much of ordinary life had been lost. For those people at the end of their lives, I am grateful that you were there with kindness and comfort. Every day was humbling to hear of your challenges, your persistence and your determination to do the right thing. Thank you isn’t enough – you did remarkable things, quietly, privately. You were, and still are, exceptional people.

  44. We want to thank all of our team members, past and present, who supported our clients from the start of Covid. When the pandemic began people were scared – both clients and team members and we worked together to provide reassurance to our team and the people we were supporting. There were tears and a lot of confusion, particularly with the sudden mask wearing which caused distress to some clients and made conversations difficult but our team were compassionate and professional in explaining why the masks were needed. They also worked so well to fill the gap from clients not being able to have visits from hairdressers, chiropodists, cleaners and in some cases family who were shielding. Our team have been, and still are, great companions to our clients. Thank you so much to team SureCare Central Cheshire who are still working incredibly hard and doing so with a smile.

I am proud to be your manager, but I am due no credit, it is all yours.
Thank you for all that you did then, and all that you continue to do now

  112. A MASSIVE Thank You to our Enable Staff team and their families. We worked long long hard hours with the fear and uncertainity of what the pandemic meant and how we would cope. But, cope we did, care we did, hope we gave, reassurance we gave and love, lots of love poured out in what was and is the most difficult time in my 30 years of working in care settings. 136. The STAR team have been absolute magicians during the Pandemic. All services have been delivered. All problems dealt with. All staff contributed in some way. STAR is a very undervalued service that not a lot of people know about, yet, it is a MAJOR cog in Sandwell Social Services wheel.
The service STAR have provided is second to none, and that’s not bias, it’s true.

  141. Special thanks to the managers, staff and residents of Allan House and Oaklea House for all the amazing things that you have done to support each other through the pandemic. Here is my poem that I wrote for you all..

    Remembrance and Recognition

As we gather all around we should stop and smile
Share our thoughts and memories of how going the extra mile
Has been achieved by all of us during this pandemic
And what we are left with, are memories that are epic

Our staff have done so many things, to keep us all uplifted
Rushing around for toilet rolls when this pandemic started
Then it was rice, tinned food, cleaning products needed
PPE in short supply but we all succeeded

We went short of nothing, and it is only now
That we can look back on it all, and realise just how
Lucky we all are, it really makes us smile
Every single one of us have gone the extra mile

It began with indoor fun, when Boris declared the lockdown
We all had lots to do, but went in our gardens when the sun shone
Picnics, parties, we even went to the beach
and another lovely memory, our beautiful memory seat

Seated exercises, discos and games, and then came the ipads too
We all started speaking to people on them, and we could see their faces woohoo 
We sang and wrote poems, oh what a laugh we have had
All of the managers got well stuck in, made sure everyone was happy, not sad

One of the best ones was We Have Got Talent, everyone got stuck in
Raising money for Dignity, can anyone remember who won?
Every one of you are winners, no award could ever repay
Your efforts and commitment over the pandemic, but we will use this day

To take time to appreciate, the amazing people that we are
We survived, we’re happy, we made it, well done

With help and support from each other, through all the ups and downs
Look around at all our faces, still wearing smiles, not frowns 

Then Sir Captain Tom was 100! We all dressed up for that day
A wonderful time we all had, celebrating his birthday
Residents wrote to Boris, wishing him get well soon
And we got a reply from him in the post, we were all over the moon

And during this time we made progress, and started our Dignity Club
Great things have happened already, it’s such a fantastic hub
We’ve made donations to the homeless, sent cards to babies who are ill
Painted rainbows and flowers, and placed them in our window sill

Bingo and quiz nights are all on the cards, choir practice is happening too
Wait until we have practiced, we might even be visiting you!
To sing our songs to others, there is such a great gift in giving
And of course we will go around with our cap, for whoever has got a spare shilling

To go towards our good deeds, oh yes, we have a lot
Our donations to the Dignity Council, and to those who haven’t got
The same love and comfort that we all share, it’s a lovely place to be
Knowing that every one of us are granted our Dignity

We had clapping for the carers, national recognition
Rainbows in windows, we were on a mission

So now if you will join me and raise your hands with a smile
And shout and cheer as loud as you can, for us ALL going the extra mile

    Trish Jones
    Regional Quality Manager
    Every Sensation Care

  142. A hug thank you to all the care and office staff at A1 Quality Homecare Ltd East and West Sussex for selflessly going over and above during the pandemic. 143. I would like to send a huge, huge thank you to our team at Westwood Care and Support Services, and Westwood Care Group in Hull, who have worked so very hard through the most difficult times most of us will have ever known.
The team have shown dedication beyond bounds and have astounded me every single day with their hardiness and resilience against such circumstances.

The world has been so shaken by the last two years, our industry has been tested to its absolute limits.

To everyone who works in H+SC, thank you. You’ve made such a difference to so many peoples lives, not just through this time, but always.

  144. A massive “Thank You” to all the Social Workers in Walsall for your continued hard work and the difference you make to people’s lives.

  145. Thank you to all the amazing staff at Care Dynamics Bournemouth for their dedication throughout the pandemic.

The team have shown incredible skill, tenacity, and dedication to ensure that people could continue to receive support when they needed it the most.
We are so proud of all our social care heroes.

  147. What an inspirational job all care works do across the country, but a massive thank you to all the care workers here at Cross Keys Homes. We have had the most challenging of times, but the staff have stayed positive and worked even harder to make sure everyone is safe and well looked after. Going the extra mile and beyond and working tirelessly despite everything that was happening around them. No words can ever explain the appreciation we have for you all. Thank you

  148. Thank you to Dave partlow ,covid lead for Somerset county council, for up to date information messages , and to the team at community catalysts Somerset . You all supported the county’s microproviders to enable us to go out and care for vulnerable people in the community.

  149. Somerset Care would like to offer a heartfelt thank you to all of our incredible, resilient, compassionate colleagues, who’s duty to care went far beyond anything we could have expected throughout the pandemic. Their dedication and commitment to helping people and their families, is, and continues to be, heroic. We’re lucky to have such an inspiring workforce.

  150. I want to give three big thank you messages to:
    – the Adult Social Care Services teams who have worked tirelessly throughout lockdown and the pandemic.
    – STAR services (SANDWELL Council) who visited us at home and supported my mom-in-law in the summer of 2021.
    – And finally to the Leasowes End of Life Care Team who supported our family and my mom-in-law at Rowley Hospital during the final three weeks of her life.

Although it was over a short period of time, it made such a big difference. At our lowest moments in life, it was good to know someone just cared. Thank you.

  151. I would like to thank everyone at Galanos House and Poppy Lodge Southam for all there love and outstanding care during the pandemic. A special thank you goes to the well being staff that kept residents and family’s connected with calls and photo’s daily. The outstanding ideas for the activities that you provided go beyond words, you really are the best.

  152. I wanted to reach out to you all at CareService24 (Bournemouth). To not only acknowledge your hard work & dedication but the bravery you all showed facing this infectious disease every day.

I am always thankful for what you do but I felt this was a fantastic way to send you all a special message of thankfulness.

In these pandemic times you, our CareService24 Home Care Heroes have been working in the most difficult situations. Showing tremendous strength through the anxiety, the fear, the uncertainty, and yet you’ve managed to keep showing up every day, putting yourselves on the front-line displaying selflessness to ensure our clients receive the care they so desperately needed.

Most people take services from home care workers but never think to thank them. So today on behalf of myself and all those people, I am sending out a huge heartfelt “Thank-You” to each and every one of you.

We not only thank you for being the steadfast support our clients and their relatives needed during this coronavirus pandemic but to thank you for your courage, positive mentality, and kindness. We also thank you for the support you all gave and continue to give the office team and your fellow colleagues. We combined our strengths like never before to find a way to respond to the impossible demands of this pandemic.

I hope you are all as proud as I am, not only for your efforts but the crucial role you all played in keeping us all safe.

I have the strongest team of healthcare workers, coordinators, and recruiters all of whom have worked tirelessly over the last few years. The contribution you are making each and every day will be appreciated and remembered.

  153. I would like to say a very big thank you to Ron and Julie from Grace Care for all of their continued support through very uncertain times. A big thank you, to all management and colleagues for their support too. A special thank you for those staff who gave hugs at a time when we were told not to hug. Those treasured hugs and tears meant more than words could say. Together, we stayed strong, supported each other and went above and beyond for our amazing residents and for eachother.

  154. Thank you to all the amazing people who work tirelessly in adult social care putting the needs of adults with disabilities and older people above their own. Their dedication and professionalism is truly appreciated. They all went above and beyond during the pandemic and sadly some paid with their lives or far-reaching physical and mental ill-health. It is important we celebrate their contribution on this day.

  155. I want to say a very special thank-you to every individual within our care group, Luxurycare. You all worked tirelessly, and as many of us throughout the whole of the world, made so many sacrifices to keep those in our care safe. Despite many challenges that we come across, we continued to provide compassionate care to the very best of our ability, even with broken hearts. We laughed, we shed so many tears, we fought for basic human rights and we continue to do this, even 2 years later. The pandemic has continued to leave it’s mark on the health and social care sector, especially care homes.. and we are still feeling many of the effects of COVID, with such little support from the government, yet so many of us have stayed, and remained dedicated to our roles, our residents and our colleagues. I have never felt prouder to work in this industry.

  156. To all the staff of Luxurycare who worked tirelessly throughout the last two years in the most difficult of times.
You are all amazing and have made the biggest difference to so many people in your care, their families and friends.
Thank you each and every one of you xx

  157. A massive thank you to all the domiciliary carer staff and management team for their strength, courage and support and for helping each other to stay strong during the pandemic . A wonderful team. Thank you from Empathy Care (IOW) Ltd

  158. A personal thankyou to show my appreciation of everyone involved with Shared Lives Cumbria. Our Carers went above and beyond and did an amazing job of keeping people safe and happy during the pandemic. I know it was a very difficult time for all but we are continuing to grow and be stronger with the work the scheme workers do 🙂 A heartfelt thanks to you all

  159. To all of Social Care, you do an amazing job in very difficult circumstances. Know that you are all greatly valued and appreciated by so many. Thank you!

  160. An enormous thank you to my fantastic colleagues across the St Monica Trust care, nursing, housekeeping, catering, laundry and portering roles. Everyone has played their part to keep our residents and each other safe. It’s not been easy and things haven’t yet shown signs of returning to ‘normal’. I and my colleagues in HR have huge respect and love for you all. Thank you.

  161. A massive thank you to the staff of 25 Spring Gardens, who were all so selfless and strong for the people we support, they ensured the people we support did not miss out, and carried on as normally as they possibly could, though they were worried for their own families and friends too.

  162. This has been a testing time for all. However I believe the people working in the Social Care Sector really have gone above and beyond and continue to do so. Right at the beginning of the pandemic when we had no idea about the true nature of Covid19 or the impact it could have our team did not falter. They continued to be out there supporting our clients and one another. I am so poud of their compassion and resilience. It has definitely taken its toll, we all are tired and frayed and yet still the compassion and loyalty to clients and fellow workesrs stays strong. When my mother forgot to go for her Covid vaccine, Home Instead stepped in to make another appointment and take her. They have adjusted their visits quickly and efficiently as support for medication has changed. 279. Thank you to everyone in Derbyshire Adult Care for your hard work and dedication through the pandemic. Some of you have experienced personal loss in your lives while others have lost well respected and valued colleagues or people you have been caring for. Despite this you have continued to focus on the needs of local people and have overcome the added challenges of getting to grips with new ways of working, the loss of regular access to peer support as offices closed and homes restricted visitors and experienced an impact on your wellbeing as what initially appeared to be necessary for a few months stretched into 2 years of uncertainty. Some people have also experienced temporary changes in roles to ensure that we could sustain key services while others have provided direct support to people with or recovering from Covid on a daily basis. Hopefully things are now improving due to the impact of vaccines and as we move into the warmer months but whatever happens going forward this has been a magnificent team effort. Thanks Dom

Also a thank you to the supervisors and admin who were at the end of the phone when we needed someone to talk to, well just listen, on those days that were not so good. We cried together we laughed together and we continue to do so.

  286. Trident Reach Social Care Teams

Thank you seems, a small gesture, for the commitment and dedication our social care teams have shown across our care homes and home care support in the West Midlands. You are our everyday heroes, the Beacon of Hope, that shining light to customers in the darkest moment many of us have seen in our lifetime.

You have all carried out your roles in providing care and support to all our customers despite dealing with your own personal challenges, anxieties and issues that working and living with the pandemic has meant that we have had to endure.

So never again should we hear,” just a carer”, “I just work in care”, you are so much more, you are a lifeline and now in this ever-changing world you are truly heroes.

We had clap for carers on a Thursday night which demonstrated the thanks of the general public to care workers across the sector, my claps were always for you, and I give you all another massive round of applause today, as we reflect and thank you, the amazing Trident care and support workers for everything you have done and still continue to do…. Thank you.

    Thank you from Trident Group.

  287. So very proud to be part of such an amazing, dedicated team, we have taken it in our stride, but my colleagues are true heroes.
I am full of pride for every single one of the care workers, and support/clerical staff , who have helped keep the most vulnerable people, and their families safe, and supported, through frightening times – when some members of our communities (who can blame them), wouldnt step outside their own homes. When we finally have time to reflect, we need to support, and celebrate each other, and realise the bravery it has taken to go out to work each, and every day over the last 2 years. Not all angels have wings…..

  293. As someone who spent the last sixteen years of my working life, I have now been retired for almost five years. I Salute all those that work in Social Care, whatever their role. The sixteen years I worked in Social Care, were the most rewarding of my working life, it was both a real priviledge and a pleasure, too have met so many amazing people. Each with their own life story too share, even now, as I drive around my old patch, I can remember, ” many of my old boy’s and a smile comes over my face” as I recall them and some of their life, that I managed too be a small part of. I would always say ” It was never going too be the greatest paid job, I had, but it had so many other rewards, that were priceless” You may be totally undervalued in monetary terms, but you have a Special Place in the hearts of Many. TAKE CARE & STAY SAFE. Les,

  317. Pushpa Meghani, Operations Director, Simply Care (UK) Ltd (Holly Bush Residential & Nursing Home
A massive shout out to my whole team of staff that supported our vulnerable service users during what has to be a the most challenging times. All my staff turned up for work, despite having their own anxieties, worries and uncertainty during the pandemic period. With this dedication and attitude towards their roles as carers, meant we were able to continue the service and outstanding care delivery to all our service users. This provided families the reassurance that their loved ones were in good hands and being kept as safe as possible.
The local community supported the staff and the home throughout the pandemic, from providing daily prepared hot lunches for all the staff, local supermarkets dropping off perishable food items for the staff as they were working all hours and had no time for basic shopping and companies that were able to provide and donate PPE would knock on our door to see if we needed further supplies.
This provided a sense of working together and not feeling isolated and left alone to deal with this pandemic on our own.

  318. Our Care Staff, Supervisors and Office Staff have worked incredibly hard over the past two years caring for our clients and keeping them safe. I could say thank you 1000 times, but it would still not be enough to show my true appreciation for their dedication and commitment to the safe care of our vulnerable clients during what has been the most challenging times seen in recent memory. Care staff do not get nearly enough recognition. It would just be lovely to be able to show them how much they are valued and what they mean to us.

  319. A very deep sense of gratitude to all the staff at Camphill Village Trust, and especially those in the team at the Farmhouse at Oaklands Park in Gloucestershire. They did all the extra miles necessary to keep my sister and other community members safe uncomplainingly and selflessly.

  320. A huge Thankyou to all staff at Unique Senior Care who have supported their clients tirelessly throughout the pandemic, you are all thoroughly appreciated!
