Home Instead Senior Care has launched it’s ‘You Can Care’ campaign

#You Can Care Week 2020

Home Instead Senior Care has launched it’s ‘You Can Care’ campaign to get more people caring as a
career.
The home care company brought their staff together through a nationwide photo competition to
find ‘real moments of care’ between CAREGivers and their clients. By showing and highlighting the
special bonds that are formed between carers and clients, Home Instead Senior Care CEO, Martin
Jones is hoping that ‘kind-hearted individuals nationwide’ will be attracted to start a wonderful
career in care.

Research from Skills for Care suggests that there are over 120,000 vacancies within social care at any
given time. As we have an ageing population, a campaign like ‘You Can Care’ is more important than
ever to highlight that there are amazing opportunities within a career in care.

One of the winning photographs is of Sue Binks who has worked for more than 5 years at Home
Instead Senior Care Stourbridge, Hagley and Halesowen. Sue said: “I love being able to make my
clients feel special, listening to their stories of their life and family and helping them to continue to
remain as independent as possible in their own home”.

Home Instead Senior Care franchises around the country are promoting the ‘You Can Care’ this
week, so get involved and share your best moments in care to show your support for caring as a
career #youcancare.
