Championing Social Care and the Care Sector Fundraising Ball raises an astonishing amount of money for charity each year.

It is an honour and privilege to be associated with an organisation that shares our commitment to supporting care workers and ensuring that they receive the recognition and assistance they deserve. The first-ever Ball was held at the Grosvenor House hotel on Saturday 29th September 2018 and was attended by 300 guests and raised an incredible £148,000 for charitable partners Alzheimer’s Research and The Care Workers Charity.
Held on Saturday 28th September 2019, and moving in to the famous Great Room at the Grosvenor House Hotel, The 2nd Care Sector Ball 2019 was attended by 500 guests and raised an incredible £200,000 for charitable partners Alzheimer’s Society and The Care Workers Charity.
The 24th of September 2022 marked the third annual Care Sector Fundraising Ball. Hosted by Championing Social Care, the event was an unforgettable night, celebrating and recognising the milestones, innovations, and some of the wonderful people in the industry.
For those of you that missed it, 2022’s event was a memorable night. With over 500 guests in attendance and a total pledge of £408,000 raised for the Care Workers Charity and Alzheimer’s Society, it was a record-breaker!
The 4th Annual Care Sector Ball was held on Saturday 30th September 2023. A record total of £426,852 was raised by the end of the night. Funds will be shared between our beneficiary charities, The Alzheimer’s Society and the Care Workers’ Charity.
That is a total of £591,600 donated to Care Workers across the UK from The Care Sector Ball. This is a lifeline for The Care Workers’ Charity and those we support and we will always be grateful to everyone involved in making this magical event happen.
