Our Top 10 Writing Competition Entries

Top 10 Writing Competition Entries 2020

In November 2020, we launched our Writing Competition and the theme was ‘Connection’. People from all sections of the social care sector have sent their stories which show their understanding and experiences of connection. Care workers, people receiving care and families have endured great difficulties lately. The Covid-19 pandemic has given connection a new meaning. We have all adapted to zoom calls, walking at a distance and visiting in special pods, however it does not weaken our connections – it simply means they may be different and in many cases stronger.

We received 130 competition entries – thank you to everyone who got involved this year. All entries were fantastic to read and picking our winners was a challenge. We are delighted to share with you our top ten entries. We hope you enjoy reading these as much as we did!
