The Care Workers’ Charity Wellbeing Report Launch at Portcullis House

The Care Workers’ Charity is delighted to announce the launch of its 2024 Wellbeing Survey Report, proudly hosted by David Baines MP at Portcullis House.

This important event brings together policymakers, care sector leaders, and frontline care workers to share the key findings from our annual Wellbeing Survey and explore what more must be done to support the physical, emotional, and financial wellbeing of the social care workforce.

We are sincerely grateful David Baines MP for hosting this event and to LDC Care and Libertatem Healthcare Group for their generous sponsorship of this event. Their support plays a vital role in enabling this important platform for discussion and advocacy.

Karolina Gerlich, CEO of The Care Workers’ Charity, said:

“Our annual Wellbeing Survey is a vital tool to understand the challenges facing care workers today. The findings serve as a powerful reminder that we must do more to invest in the wellbeing of this dedicated workforce, who provide essential support to people drawing on care every day. We are proud to be presenting this work at the heart of Parliament and extremely thankful to David Baines MP for hosting, and to our sponsors LDC Care and Libertatem for making this event possible.”

The Wellbeing Survey Report Launch is part of the Charity’s ongoing commitment to advocating for systemic change across the social care sector – driven by real-life experiences, evidence-based policy, and the voices of care workers themselves.
