The Care Workers’ Charity and LaingBuisson

LaingBuisson have chosen The Care Workers’ Charity (CWC) as their Charity of the Year in 2024 and are helping to raise awareness of the support offered by the charity. The support given will widen the reach of CWC and will ensure more care workers in need can receive support. Now more than ever, they deserve recognition and value for their work. Care workers who made many sacrifices during the pandemic to support people who draw on care are now the ones struggling most with the cost-of-living crisis.

William Laing, Founder & Executive Chairman, LaingBuisson says “We are pleased to announce The Care Workers’ Charity as our Charity of the Year 2024. The charities commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of those who tirelessly care for others truly resonates with us. We look forward to raising awareness and funds throughout the year to support their efforts.”

Karolina Gerlich, CEO of the CWC says, “We cannot thank LaingBuisson enough for choosing us as their Charity of the Year. Every pound they collect makes a huge difference, supporting care workers with financial grants and mental health support and keeping our charity open for them throughout the year. Their contributions will also help the CWC to run national campaigns and conduct research to raise awareness of the issues facing care workers today and make the case for improved pay and conditions.”

There are almost 2 million care workers in the UK who care for the most vulnerable members of our society. The Care Workers’ Charity is a national charity that supports people working in social care in the UK with financial and mental health support.

The Care Workers’ Charity aims to ensure the social care workforce is supported so that the best level of care is given to service users.
