CareHomeLife are rejoining The Care Workers’ Charity (The CWC) as a Silver Sponsor and are helping to raise awareness of the support offered by the charity. The support given will widen the reach of CWC and will ensure more care workers in need can receive support.
Cheryl Jones, Head of Brand and Marketing at CareHomeLife, says “CareHomeLife is proud to be a long-term supporter of The Care Workers’ Charity. Of course, we’d prefer it if the charity wasn’t needed, however there are still far too many care workers in financial and mental crisis and it’s heartening to know they don’t have to face it alone because of the CWC. It’s a difficult decision to allocate charitable donations, there are so many forces for good in the Social Care sector. But the CWC is at the top of the pile for us because of their ethos and purpose.”
Karolina Gerlich, CEO of the CWC says, “We are very grateful that CareHomeLife have decided to support the CWC by once again becoming a Silver Sponsor. By supporting us in this way they are supporting the social care workforce and showing their admiration of the amazing work achieved in social care.”
There are almost 1.6 million care workers in the UK who care for the most vulnerable members of our society. The Care Workers’ Charity is a national charity that supports people working in social care in the UK with financial and mental health support.
The Care Workers’ Charity aims to ensure the social care workforce is supported so that the best level of care is given to service users.
