Sunrise and Gracewell Very Own ‘Bradley Wiggins’ Starts Epic 1206 mile Journey

Sunrise and Gracewell very own Bradley Wiggins, Phil Andrews, has laid down the gauntlet to raise a staggering £5,000 for The Care Workers’ Charity by virtually cycling 1206 miles to and from the group’s 46 homes.

With his bespoke designed cycling shirt Phil ceratinly means business and he attempts to complete this epic challenege and journey which will virtually take him from Greater Manchester to Sway in Hampshire.

There are 1.5 million care workers in the UK, contributing to one of the largest workforces, and caring for some of the most vulnerable people in our society.

For the UK’s care workers, early starts, long hours and mentally draining work are part and parcel of the job. As a result, it’s all too easy for illness, or other unforeseen circumstances, to push them beyond their financial limits.
