Elevation Advisors LLP (“Elevation”), a specialist healthcare real estate investment manager, is pleased to confirm that they are partnering with The Care Workers’ Charity (“CWC”) for a fourth year. The CWC advances the financial, professional and mental wellbeing of social care workers by making grants, signposting to resources and campaigning for care workers and the wider sector. By supporting and elevating the front-line social care workforce, the best level of care is forwarded to those who draw on social care. This vision is shared by Elevation.
Elevation established its funding agreement with The CWC in early 2021, and continues to support The CWC who are experiencing an ever increasing demand for crisis support grants. There are almost 2 million care workers in the UK who care for the most vulnerable members of our society. Since 2020 The CWC have given over £6.1 million in grants to over 12,200 care workers in need.
Karolina Gerlich, Chief Executive Officer of The CWC, stated: “The Care Workers’ Charity has been diligently supporting care workers nationwide, especially as their needs have surged during the cost-of-living crisis. We couldn’t address these challenges without external assistance, so we are delighted to continue to have Elevation as a sponsor. We deeply appreciate Elevation’s generous funding and are excited to have their support once more. This partnership embodies a collaboration between two organisations with shared values dedicated to bolstering the social care sector, significantly enhancing our efforts and benefiting the sector as a whole. My team and I look forward to working with Elevation in the coming year. Their donations have already profoundly impacted many care workers’ lives and will continue to support many more in the year ahead.”
Jacob Hurtley, ESG Director of Elevation said: “We continue to be impressed by the positive impact The CWC makes for those on the front line of social care. The CWC’s crisis grants provide vital lifelines for those with unexpected or challenging financial burdens and their work for the sector is inspiring. As investors in social care, we are acutely aware that care workers play a critical role in maintaining safety and infection control, and are at the forefront of improving care quality. We are delighted to have an opportunity to give back to our communities.”
The Elevation team has extended its support by taking part in events including The CWC Annual Trek, with a substantial amount raised so far, and Elevation was delighted to be given the Top Fundraiser Award at the 25th National Care Awards in November 2023.
