Care England Chair Angela Boxall joins The Care Workers’ Charity as Trustee
The Care Workers’ Charity (CWC) has announced the appointment of Angela Boxall, Chair of Care England and CEO of Majesticare, to its Board of Trustees.
Angela brings more than two decades of social care leadership to the role. As Chair of Care England, she has played a leading part in shaping national conversations and influencing policy on behalf of care providers and the workforce. As CEO of Majesticare, an award winning care home group, she has built a reputation for combining strategic vision with a genuine, people first approach to care.
Her appointment comes as CWC continues to expand its Board ahead of Professional Care Workers’ Week in September, the charity’s annual campaign to recognise and celebrate the professional care workforce.
Angela said: “Care workers are the backbone of our sector, yet too often their contribution goes unrecognised. I have spent my career championing the people who make social care possible, and I am proud to bring that commitment to The Care Workers’ Charity’s Board of Trustees. I look forward to helping the charity grow its support for people drawing on care and the workforce who support them.”
