Champions What is a Champion? What is a Champion? Champion our cause and help us support care workers in financial hardship Champions is the name given to our network of volunteers. Our champions are our eyes and ears on the ground, working in care homes and the community to fundraise and raise awareness of the Care Workers Charity. Champions take part in fundraising for the Care Workers Charity by putting on or taking part in fundraising events. From bake sales to bike rides, our Champions take part in a range of different fundraising activities. We really appreciate any donations and each donation helps us support care workers. Champions also help raise awareness of the Care Workers Charity and the help we can offer. We want our vision shouted from the rooftops; no care worker should face financial hardship alone. Champions can spread the word through sharing leaflets and posters in their place of work and the community or by holding awareness events. Whether you’re a care worker, care manager, or simply want to raise funds for The Care Workers Charity, anyone can be a Champion. Our champions are team players and work hard helping the Care Workers Charity fulfil its vision. We can’t thank them enough and hope to welcome you to the team soon.
