The annual walking challenge is quickly becoming the highlight of our events calendar. Last year we had almost 90 participants complete our Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge raising over £35,000 in essential funds for The Care Workers Charity. Countrywide Healthcare were the sponsor of the event with their enthusiastic team of five also braving the elements and successfully completing the challenge in under 12 hours.

This year we are inviting you to take on a different challenge – trekking Mount Snowdon at Night

Snowdon is the highest mountain in Wales at 1085m. Trekking it during the day is a challenge, completing the walk by night using the torch light is a whole new experience that is not to be missed.

The 10-mile walk will be completed throughout the night from the 20th to 21st of June 2019. We will begin the walk at Llanberis Path, using our head torches to light our way while ascending for 5-6 hours. Reaching the summit, we will take some time to enjoy the views over the Snowdonia National Park lit up by the moonlight - a truly unique sight! We will begin the descent, observing spectacular landscapes open up around us as the day grows lighter. Our challenge will end at the finish line back at Llanberis Path where we will enjoy a hearty breakfast with our new friends.

CWC is delighted to have Countrywide Healthcare sponsor Snowdon at Night Challenge and to hear that their team will be taking part in it!

We look forward to taking part in the challenge ourselves and to raising money for this worthwhile cause.
