Did you know that pretty much every profession has a benevolent fund or charity set up to support staff, and the Care Workers Charity (CWC) is the only one for the care sector?

CWC supports the basic welfare of anyone who works in a registered care service. That includes front line care staff, to catering, to back office, to managers. Support is offered in the form of hardship grants and online information on money, debt, health, and wellbeing.

Raising the profile of the charity goes hand in hand with raising the funds to help those who need it. It’s our dream that one day we will be able to provide support to every care worker who needs it, until then however we can only help the neediest cases and we need your support to do it.

As part of Caring Homes Group becoming an official supporter of CWC we are giving you the opportunity to become one of our CWC Champions. Your head office are encouraging two Champions to be recruited in each home.

What does it mean to be a CWC Champion?

CWC Champions are our boots on the ground. They will act as our eyes and ears for their home, be supported by our team of Engagement Managers to plan fun and engaging fundraising events, and support fellow care workers in need by signposting them to the CWC website.

Wear your Champion Badge with pride in your home

It won't take much time on your part, and you will join our army of care workers across the country doing their bit for their charity. Champions will be recognised with their own CWC badge to wear proudly in the home, receive acknowledgement through our facebook group, learn new skills, and be acknowledged by the Caring Homes Group head office.  Sign up to be a Champion here
