Three Peaks Challenge

Going the Extra 24.5 Miles to Support The Care Workers Charity

This year’s annual fundraiser saw almost 90 people from across the care sector take part in the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge.

18 teams undertook the demanding hike against the clock, with only 12 hours to conquer steep climbs while battling the elements.

The route, covering twenty-four and a half miles, included 1,585 meters of ascent over the Pen-y-ghent, Ingleborough and Whernside hills, providing a backdrop of breathtaking British countryside.

Due to the hard work and dedication of all participants, The Care Workers Charity is delighted to announce that this year’s challenge raised an impressive £35,698!

Alex Ramamurthy, CEO at the Care Workers Charity said:

We are incredibly thankful to all those who participated in our annual challenge. These funds will allow us to help more care workers across the UK who find themselves in a crisis and need support. We hope everyone who attended thoroughly enjoyed the experience, and that you will join us again next year
