This stunning cycling challenge will see us ride 156 miles along the South East Coast, from Southampton to New Romney, whilst raising funds for The Care Workers Charity.

Over two fantastic days we will experience stunning views of coastlines and countryside as we cycle through two designated Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Along the way we will cycle through the famous port city of Portsmouth, along Chichester Harbour and enjoy an overnight stay in Brighton. Upon arrival in New Romney we will enjoy a celebratory drink and reflect on our incredible achievements.

Day 1

We meet early in Hythe at West Cliff Hall for event registration and event briefing. We start our journey by riding along the coastline passing through Southampton and the famous port city of Portsmouth. We skirt around the edge of Chichester Harbour and head slightly inland to Chichester, before following the coast to our overnight stop in Brighton. Cycling distance – approx. 87 miles

Day 2

Today the route continues, following the coast and we enter High Weald to enjoy some open hill cycling. It’s a short push on to Rye from High Weald and then onto New Romney to cross the finish line and enjoy a celebratory drink. Cycling distance – approx. 69 miles
